Transparency, Integrity and Good Governance also called as TINGOG is a campus student party list of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology founded by YAPIS, a community-based organization consists of student volunteers and young professionals in January 26, 2008 at Palm Court Beach Resort, Barangay Tomas Cabili, Iligan City. The purpose of the establishment is to develop students’ citizenship skills and values, to encourage collaborative partnerships between students and faculty, to develop leaders who will contribute to social change and to provide an atmosphere of effective, responsive, transparent and accountable student government.
Our foremost commitment to the students is to offer an alternative from the usual campus politics that is not characterized by egoism and misguided partisan, a student government and political leadership that is firm to its principles whom everyone deserves to have and a politics of fulfillment against promises and repeated regrets. As concerned students, we hope to inspire others especially the freshmen in building bridges among the administration, faculty and to themselves on relating issues and concerns affecting their rights, interests and welfare.
Moreover, we recognize our potentials and the involvement of the different clubs, societies, and organizations through student forums, in-campus activities and civic services. Further, to consolidate ideas and suggestions in ensuring democracy, as richly participatory rather than procedural because we tend to recognize the work of negotiating differences as an example of democracy. We try to lead the student community in a consistent manner with our principles.
Lastly, we are motivated to engage and pursue whatever services we can provide because we see ourselves in the students whom we served and through our collective efforts, talents, and skills we can build a free and fulfilled leadership in the campus.
WE HAVE A BOLD NEW DIRECTION of the studentry of MSU-IIT. We seek:
a. An effective, responsive, transparent and accountable student government.
b. To recognize the different clubs, societies and organizations through organizational fair, friendship game and symposium.
c. Promotion of student’s participation through in-campus and off-campus activities.
